Living and working here

What Koramangala's housing means for a session

The eight blocks mix older independent houses with newer apartments and a lot of office space. Your building decides where you train.

Typical training space in Koramangala
Where you live or workSpace for trainingWhat we plan
Apartment building in a residential blockA flat, sometimes a building gymHome sessions; building gym when it is open
Independent house in the older blocksA ground floor room or a terraceFloor and band work; terrace in good weather
Office or co-working space near 80 Feet RoadShared gym, or noneEarly session at home, so the office gym is optional
Serviced flat or short-stayA small roomBodyweight, bands and a travel-size routine

The eight blocks are not one kind of place. Tell us the block and the building type at the consultation, because the route, the parking and the gate access decide the start time as much as the traffic does.

80 Feet Road and the Forum Mall stretch are the busiest parts of the area in the evening. A session at home removes the walk through that traffic from your evening.

Office hours here often run late. We keep an evening slot for the late days and plan the same week around it, so one late meeting does not cost the whole week.

Sessions fall on alternate days, so your muscles get a day to recover in between.

Morning daysThe 6 to 8 AM slot is the most reliable one here, before the day's calls start.
Late daysA shorter session in the evening is better than a skipped one. The plan has that version written in.
Travel weeksWe move you to online sessions with the same coach for longer trips.

  • Every rep counted with youYour coach counts the reps aloud and pushes you through the last ones.Every session we read

  • Stretching to finishSessions close with stretches for the muscles you trained. At least 84% of sessions
  • Knowledge you keepThe coach explains why each exercise and cue matters, so you can train well on your own.About 2 in 3 classes
  • Habits for the days betweenSteps, water, sleep and protein tasks, checked at your next session.Water and steps come up in about 6 in 10 classes

Corrections, explaining why, water and steps: a sample of recorded classes, 17 Aug to 21 Oct 2026. The rest: 1-on-1 sessions recorded 1 to 21 October 2026, each read in full. Some recordings start after the warm-up, so the mobility and stretching shares are a floor.

Like you did 7 reps in 30 seconds. Just try to make it 8 or 9.

Honest comparison

When a local gym or a group class is the better choice in Koramangala

Koramangala has many gyms and studios, so the choice is real.

  • A commercial gym is the better choice if you know your training and only need equipment. A membership alone costs less than coaching.
  • A group class suits you if your evenings are fixed and you like shared energy.
  • A coach at home suits you if your office hours change week to week, if you have a condition, or if you want meals and training planned together.

The first month

How the first month runs in Koramangala

Built for an office day that ends late on some days and early on others.

  1. Week 1: block and buildingA 30-minute consultation, then your block and building type confirmed. Access, parking and the gate decide the start time.
  2. Week 2: the morning and evening slotsBoth slots are tested, so we know which one works on your office days.
  3. Week 3: the routineThree sessions a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, settle into a slot. Load goes up when the form holds.
  4. Week 4: reviewA review of measurements, sleep and energy, and the next four weeks of the plan.

Before the consultation

What to tell us so the plan fits Koramangala

A short list for the consultation.

  • Your block, building name and whether you live in a flat or a house.
  • Your usual finish time, and how often it runs past 7 PM.
  • Whether you work from a co-working space or an office, and whether it has a gym.
  • Any joint pain, back pain, medicine or condition your doctor has discussed.
  • Days you travel, so the plan keeps a shorter version for them.

Koramangala's eight blocks differ in road width, parking and gate access. A block with narrow lanes can make the evening slot harder than a block near a main road, so the block matters as much as the traffic.

Co-working and office life here is often irregular. A session that you finish is worth more than one you skip, so the plan has a shorter evening version for the days meetings run over.

Many people in Koramangala train at home because a gym trip after a late day is the first thing dropped. Home sessions remove the trip and keep the slot.

Residential blockHome session, or the building gym when it is open.
House in an older blockA ground floor room or a terrace is enough for a full plan.
Co-working dayA short evening session in a room at home, with the meal plan kept simple.

Koramangala lunches are often a dosa, a dal rice bowl or a curd rice from a canteen. For most plans the change is the side dish and the portion, rather than skipping the meal.
