Indians Abroad, Training With Us

Recorded on real calls, in real living rooms, between work and school runs. No studio, no filters: this is what the coaching actually looks like for Indians abroad.

Dad + Desk Job

Vinay

Seattle, USA

Trains with his little one on his shoulders

Vinay's training window is whenever dad duty allows, so some days his little one joins the session, riding on his shoulders through squat jumps. Corporate job, full-time parenting, and he still shows up. That is the whole method.

1-on-1 on video

Anjali, 26

Chicago, USA

Form checked rep by rep

Anjali trains from Chicago with Coach Tanmana live on the call, watching every squat and fixing form rep by rep. A real coach in the room with her, not an app she has to motivate herself to open.

Started at 56

Prasanna, 56

New Jersey, USA

15 lbs lighter in 3 months

Prasanna started at 56, training in the space between the sofa and the hallway of her New Jersey home. Three months of live sessions later, she is 15 lbs lighter and still showing up every week.

Couple, 60s

Sujatha & Chandra

Dallas, Texas

Two mats, one coach, in their 60s

In their 60s, Sujatha and Chandra roll out two mats side by side in their Dallas home and train together on the same live call. Same coach, same session, twice the accountability.

50+

Saraswathi

California, USA

7 kg down, stronger at 50+

Saraswathi joined from California in her 50s. Seven kilos down, she talks less about the scale now and more about what she can lift, carry, and do.

Home workouts

Abhijeet, 26

Germany

Three more months planned

Abhijeet trains from home in Germany with his coach in India, one mat and a few dumbbells on a 1-on-1 video call. One month in, he says it is "just like working out with your friend", and he already has three more months planned.

What UK guidance says

For South Asians in the UK,
the risk starts earlier.

NICE and the NHS already set different numbers for people of South Asian background. Your coach plans with them.

27.5

BMI where obesity starts for South Asian adults, not 30. Overweight starts at 23, not 25.

NICE NG246, 1.9.11

0.5

Waist to height ratio where health risk goes up: keep your waist under half your height.

NICE NG246, 1.9.14

25

Age to start type 2 diabetes risk checks for people of South Asian background, instead of 40.

NICE PH38, 1.2.1

10 mcg

Daily vitamin D the NHS says people with darker skin, including South Asian, should consider all year, not only in winter.

NHS, vitamin D

Timezone Overlap

UK mornings are Indian afternoons. Sessions run from early morning to mid afternoon UK time, and messages work across any gap.

Indian Home Cooking

Plans mix your supermarket shop with the dal, roti and sabzi you actually want to eat, in katori portions.

PCOS & Menopause

Specialist coaches for weight loss, insulin resistance, and hormonal shifts in Indian women.

Async First

Log meals, get feedback the same day: no need to match live hours except for weekly calls.

India Trips

Coaching adjusts when you visit home: no pause needed, just different environment.

Cultural Fluency

Understands joint-family eating, festival scheduling, and pressure around Indian weddings.

Most people abroad had trained before and stopped. The hard part is keeping it going around a commute, work and family, so that is what the plan is built around.

FAQ

Coaching for UK Indians, FAQs

The questions UK-based Indians ask before starting.

Yes. Your coach trains you 1-on-1 on video and reviews your meals and workouts on chat between sessions. The UK is 5 hours 30 minutes behind India from late October to late March, and 4 hours 30 minutes behind during British Summer Time, so a UK morning is an Indian afternoon.

Coaches cover every time slot, so you choose when you train: early morning, lunch, evening or weekends. In UK winter (GMT), 7 am in London is 12.30 pm in India. In British Summer Time (late March to late October) the UK is 4 hours 30 minutes behind India, so the same Indian slot is an hour later on your clock: a 12.30 pm India session is 7 am in London in winter and 8 am in summer. Weekend slots are an option for people who work office hours. Messages can be sent any time; your coach replies during the Indian day.

Yes. On the free call you tell your coach your real week: shift pattern, commute, school runs, gym or no gym. Sessions go on the days you can actually train, and meals are planned for the days you eat at work. The plan changes when your rota changes.

You pay the same price as members in India. Every member is billed in Indian rupees, so the price is the same wherever you live. Your bank converts the amount at its own rate, so check your card's foreign transaction fee. The plan and fee are set on your free call before you pay anything.

Yes. PCOS and menopause-related weight gain in Indian women responds well to tailored nutrition (managing insulin sensitivity, understanding fat distribution), resistance training, and consistent tracking. If PCOS or menopause is your main goal, say so on the free call and you are matched with a coach who works with it. Your GP stays in charge of tests and medicines.

Exactly, that's the point. Your meal plan mixes what you buy at Tesco, Sainsbury's, or local Indian grocers with home-cooked dal, sabzi, and roti. Coach builds substitutions (paneer alternatives, dal varieties, rice portions) into your plan.

Yes. If you're on GLP-1 medication, your coach programs around it: especially muscle preservation (more important on GLP-1) and adjusting protein intake as you lose weight. We don't prescribe or advise on medication, but we absolutely coach nutrition and training alongside it. Your prescriber stays in charge of the dose.

We start with a free consultation call where you meet your potential coach, discuss your goals, and walk through how the program works. First week is low-pressure: log your meals/workouts as usual, coach reviews and gives feedback. You'll see the coaching style before committing. If it's not a fit, no obligation.

If you are 40 to 74 and have no heart, kidney or diabetes diagnosis, the NHS should invite you to a free NHS Health Check every 5 years; ask your GP surgery or a pharmacy if you have not been invited. NICE also advises a type 2 diabetes risk check from age 25 for people of South Asian background, not 40. Bring the results to your free call so your coach plans around them.

From London to Manchester.
One Indian coach away.

Book your free consultation: meet your coach, walk through your goals, start this week. Same price as India, billed in rupees, sessions on UK mornings.
