Common questions
Is PCOS a hormonal or a metabolic problem?
For most women it is driven by insulin resistance, which is why strength training and a protein-forward diet often improve symptoms more than cutting calories alone.
Does thyroid medication alone fix weight gain?
Restoring thyroid hormone to normal removes the barrier but does not by itself create a calorie deficit or build muscle. Medication plus training and adequate protein is what changes body composition.
